Blood Runaway is the sixty-third Extra Ops and the fifteenth Rare Boss introduced in Metal Slug Attack.

Story

The Ikari Warriors Team (barring Whip) are leading a Regular Army offensive against the Rebel Army. Leona talks with Heidern, and in the midst of their conversation, a Rebel Army soldier throws a grenade and severely wounds Heidern. Heidern tells Leona control her power before he falls unconscious.

Enraged at her adopted father's apparent death, Leona's Orochi blood activates, and she goes on a rampage, destroying the new Shoe & Karn.

Donald Morden looks from afar and wonders if Leona is truly a human due to how she destroyed Shoe & Karn. Abigail informs him that Leona has Orochi blood and that she didn't expect her to be in the Regular Army. She insists on tackling her alone, but Morden overrides her and has the army retreat, knowing that it is impossible to defeat her. He also has her collect the destroyed tanks' feed and to collect some of Orochi's blood for Navy to examine.

As the Rebel Army retreats, Ralf asks Leona (who has calmed down) if she single-handedly defeated them. Leona informs Ralf that Heidern is dead, but Ralf states that he is still breathing. Leona gets the medical team, while Clark speaks with Ralf. Ralf has Clark watch over Leona just in case something happens, while he stays with Heidern.
