Cat Alyst is the two hundred and fifty-first Extra Ops and the sixtieth Marathon introduced in Metal Slug Attack.

Story

Lucy and Cica are idling around and place flowers on their accompanying technology. The Frog Mecha does not respond, while Koshka shakes the flowers off, which the two girls find cute. Cica then participates in an operation in some ruins, where she encounters Arsinoe. It is soon revealed that Koshka was originally Arsinoe's weapon, but the Ptolemaic Army had discovered it and Cica uses a remote to control Koshka. As they fight, Oao-One soon appears to help fight, though Cica quickly realizes that the weapon barely has any concern with her.

Oao-One prepares to fight Arsinoe and her arc, but tries to download the Koshka's data. Seeing this as a threat, Cica flees with the Koshka and Oao-One finishes downloading and ends up meowing, much to both it and Arsinoe's surprise. Safely away from the battlefield, Cica and the Koshka take a catnap.
