Encounter of Unknown is the ninety-seventh Extra Ops and the twenty-third Rare Boss introduced in Metal Slug Attack.

Story

A flashback occurs where Halle finds a Mars People Pocket, who runs away from her.

In the present, Clone Abby wakes up Halle, as it is time for her first mission. The Professor greets the two and tells them that there is a new weapon to obtain data on and tasks the two with obtaining it. Mars People Pocket asks the Professor for some aid as it is concerned for Halle's safety.

The two arrive at the base, where the two are soon spotted by Beatriz. Mars People Pocket appears, wanting to protect Halle. It calls in the Rugname, which obliterates the Cabrakan. Beatriz retreats from the scene while Mars People Pocket talks to Halle. Somehow, Halle is able to understand what Mars People Pocket says, which causes the Martian to think that she understands her, but she soon wonders if it said anything, causing it to be disappointed. With the data acquired, the three return to base.
