The first type of Extra Ops introduced in the game.
Overview[]
Originally the concept of this Ops was similar to that of the Rare Boss event, with only ten stages available. It was later changed (as of "CODE: ASSAULT") to a combination of three maps (Normal, Hard and Hell), each with ten stages, for a total of thirty.
Starting with the "Power of New Versions" event, players must complete all stages on Normal before accessing Hard, and the Hard stages to unlock Ultra Hard. Each difficulty has a recommended minimum level - 1 for Normal, 20 for Hard, and 40 for Hell.
Completing the hard stages for the first time yields 
30, while first-time hell stages yields 50. Completing all thirty stages with a S-Rank will also yield a one-time bonus of 100.
These Extra Ops tend to give somewhat average units, with a few exceptions. However, it takes significantly less sorties to obtain a platinum-framed unit compared to the other Extra Ops, regardless if experts are used or not.
Difficulty affects the type of enemies featured in the Extra Ops along with the P.O.Ws rescued; 3 on Normal, 4 on Hard and 5 for Hell. Each Marathon-themed Extra Ops has a consistent starting level and frame/skills.
Challenges[]
There are three different sets of tasks - each one must be completed on their respective difficulty (e.g a hard task must be completed on the hard set of levels).
In order to access the harder tasks the previous set of tasks before them must be completed - raiding the stage will not progress the task.
