Freedom is the two hundred Extra Ops and the forty-eighth Rare Boss introduced in Metal Slug Attack.

Story

Red confronts Ptolemaios over his betrayal. In another area, one of the society members wakes up another, Humphrey, and asks him to shoot Ptolemaios as he's off-guard. Although not shown, it is implied that Humphrey shot the member.

Returning to the present, Dragunov leads a scavenging operation on a Rebel Army base that contains an improved Crablops. Humphrey has since joined the Ptolemaic Army and attempts to go off, but Dragunov stops him for the time being. She asks him to hear her out, taking responsibility for any of his actions. He reluctantly agrees and wonders how they can take the enemy down as they have more men and firepower.

Elsewhere, Beatriz is surprised by the sudden attack. As Beatriz insisted on sleeping outside, Vicky states that they are separated from the main force. Beatriz states that she wants to meet with her sister, but not with baggy eyes. She orders Vicky to deploy everything they have just as Humphrey arrives. He asks them to send everything and relax at the base as it would be a win-win situation for both of them. Although Humphrey states that he isn't an enemy, Beatriz states that all must submit to her.

Humphrey constantly dodges the Crablops' attacks, much to Beatriz's annoyance. She orders Vicky to detach the legs which catches him off-guard. Dragunov soon arrives and finds Humphrey badly wounded. Humphrey states that he deserves to be recognized for his "distinguished service", but Dragunov calls him out for getting caught on a Crablops leg. Humphrey informs her that they didn't act as planned and kept using kamikaze attacks with the Crablops' special attacks. Dragunov tells him to wait until the medics arrive and to depart with the group once the scavenging operation is finished. Humphrey reluctantly complies.

As Dragunov leaves to oversee the operation, Humphrey collects his thoughts, wishing to see Red once more.
