Insanity Ahead is the one hundred and eighty-seventh Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.

Story

Amadeus oversees First Baby's hibernation, not wanting to take any chances that would harm White Baby. Alma is surprised First Baby is letting Amadeus put her to sleep.

White Baby states that First Baby could not understand the truth of everything that shapes human society, having her own "solution" that she could never lose. She comments on how foolish she is because of that.

At the Regular Army base, Midori is surprised to learn of many entrances into the base, though MS-Heart tells her that only a tenth of those are actually usable. MS-Heart then senses a presence approaching, prompting Midori to get hew newly developed Giant Copter. They are surprised to see that the presence is First Baby, but there is something clearly wrong with her. First Baby states that she will protect them if humanity will not.

First Baby severely damages the Giant Copter Type-B, prompting MS-Heart to grab Midori before she falls off. She then notices that First Baby has stopped attacking and is reverting to her original state. MS-Heart tells Midori to shut off the circuit she is in, to remove her from the system. Midori quickly does so, and First Baby is removed, as she wishes for Amadeus to love her.
