Mad Assault Crew is the one hundred and forty-seventh Extra Ops and the thirty-sixth Rare Boss introduced in Metal Slug Attack.

Story

A backstory of how why there are still Invaders on Earth is mentioned; a group of Invaders attempted to conquer the planet, but were driven back by Earth's defenders. Despite the catastrophic loss, some Invaders initially sent survived, evolved and are still attempting to change its ecosystem.

At the Rebel base, Nantes introduces herself to Destrade, Huracan and Conny. Destrade is concerned about Nantes' physical strength, since she lacks it. Abigail tells them that she wanted to join Allen Platoon, and she's the only one outside of Allen himself in their platoon that can operate heavy weaponry. Allen is busy fighting in the front lines, so Destrade decides to take Nantes with them. However, she forgets to bring her tank so Abigail does so for her.

They head to the battlefield where they catch up with Allen who is single-handedly fighting the Invaders himself. Conny is more cautious in the battle, since she isn't as physically strong as Destrade or Huracan, though Destrade tells her not to doubt herself and keep fighting. As more enemies arrive, Destrade asks Nantes to fire her tank at full power. Conny is surprised as this would wipe out everyone including themselves, but Nantes fires anyways and the whole battlefield is engulfed.

With the battle over, Allen meets Nantes and compliments her; Nantes apologizes for harming him, but secretly she glorifies him because he survived a full-powered assault from her. Destrade tells Huracan to take Allen to the infirmary, as Nantes' blast threw him to his final form, before Huracan asks for Conny. Destrade points a fair distance away to an unconscious Conny, remarking that she will need to be re-trained again with Nantes.
