Sand Rabbit is the two hundred and twenty-third Extra Ops and the fifty-fifth Marathon introduced in Metal Slug Attack.

Story

Lucy and the Animal Squadron are sent to the desert in order to obtain some treasure hiding in the ruins. They are also given a new Rock Mole and automated Ribbit Robots. One of them begins acting on its own, and the group follows it.

In the ruins, the mummies gather as another of their own, Sekhat, has woken from her slumber. Cleopatra welcomes her old subordinate, who immediately begins following her around, much to her discomfort. Hathol soon tells them that her dogs have sensed enemies heading to the ruins, and HMT states that her attacks aren't driving them off. Cleopatra then tasks Sekhat to deal with the enemy, who reluctantly does so. Ramal follows her out of concern after her subordinates insist she do so.

Outside, Sekhat and Ramal manage to defeat the intruders, who retreat after a lengthy battle. Ramal is concerned that Sekhat is overexerting herself as she hasn't recovered fully and was sent to fight, but Sekhat assures her she always had to do this in her previous life, so it is not much of a concern. Ramal's subordinates catch up and observe the scene from a distance.
