Silent Evolution is the one hundred and eighty-second Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.

Story

Percier and the Gemini Twins are in space operating a Dai-Manji before they lose control over their spaceship. Percier frantically tries to find out the cause of the malfunction, scolding Black and White for not helping out and apparently insulting her. The twins realize that something on Earth is controlling them, finding it hard to believe they have the technology to do so.

The Dai-Manji arrives at a Rebel base and begins attacking it; the personnel are unable to fight back; Grazia is unamused and orders them to fight to the end. Naomi also arrives, impressed with Grazia's resolve and offers her Aviation Corps to provide aerial support.

Elsewhere, Alma notes how Amadeus managed to get White Baby to help, although Amadeus states that he had no involvement in doing so; she simply did so out of her own free will.

With a motivated officer and assistance from the Aviation Corps, they are able to repel the enemy attack. In actuality, the Twins are able to remove the malicious program hacking the Dai-Manji and speed off; Naomi comments on how the enemy didn't surrender, but they simply retreated upon being overwhelmed.

Amadeus is surprised by the turn of events, believing they should have concentrated harder to avoid a loss. White Baby states that she had her own reasons for helping out, and does not consider the battle a loss.
