Special Items

Status Strengthening Items

Unlike regular Items, which are regularly awarded during standard game play, these more powerful equipment pieces must be either fused or sought out through certain shops.

Platinum Items

Some platinum items are part of the Box Crank, Fever Crank and Ultimate Mission. They are awarded in a debut Box Crank when players obtain 300 parts of the unit that the item is to be used for. Players can also fuse these items normally with standard platinum items. They can be purchased in the Rare Shop for 2,000 Medals per item (although this is an extremely poor use of Medals).

The items are useful for the units as they give them additional stats that make them further viable in battle. These items are exclusive equips for a box unit's skill 5 slot, while Ultimate Bosses use these as both their skill 4 and 5 slots.

Units sharing the same special item usually share the same items for their skill 5 slots.

Trivia

• The Mask is currently the only generic special item that is only used by one unit, excluding those of Ultimate Bosses (who all use the same generic special items). It used to share this same trait with the Rucksack until Pretty Morden's release, whose skill 5 slot has Rucksack equips.
