Task Force 21st is the two hundred and seventy-seventh Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.
Story[]
At an underground cave, Dragunov and Caroline detected a cache of gold and express glee as they declare what they intend to do with it. Dragunov then spots several figures coming from above and warns Caroline of them. Caroline notes their avian-like humanoid appearances.
The female alien demands the two move aside as the gold is hers. The two Ptolemaics refuse, so she calls on a fellow Bird Gladiator to assist her. In response, Caroline activates the GIP-03α Valkyrie and both sides prepare to fight.
As the two groups battle, Dragunov notes that their attacks are having difficulty hitting the enemy but that they can't give up. The female alien commends Dragunov's will but captures Caroline, stating that she will die if she chooses to fight. Dragunov concedes defeat and the alien releases her. Caroline apologizes to her for forfeiting the gold, but Dragunov states that her allies' lives are more important than wealth.
In a surprising twist, the female alien then asks for their names, as she respects their unusual strength and willpower for humans. Dragunov asks for her name first, upon which she introduces herself as Krieger. Dragunov then introduces herself and Caroline to her, upon which Krieger decides to give them half of the gold as a sign of respect as warriors. Krieger then starts digging where the gold should be, but she instead discovers that the gold is none other than her sister Drache who had been sleeping underground. Caroline is shocked by Drache's size as Krieger introduces her to the Ptolemaics. After remarking her first few letters are the same as Dragunov's, the Ptolemaics take their leave, with both sides expressing an intent to win in their next encounter. Krieger then compliments her younger sister.
