Task Force 24th is the two hundred and ninety-first Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.
Story[]
As another summer starts, Iron Fortress shows to Sweet Baby that she's won three tickets to head to Everlasting Summer Island. First Baby wants to go to the seashore, even though White Baby tells her they can only simulate the data. First Baby doesn't mind, as she wants to act like the humans. White Baby points out that only three can go, so Sweet Baby decides to settle the matter with rock-paper-scissors.
To her dismay, Fortress ends up losing, so she goes on a tantrum and runs out of the facility. Sweet Baby expresses regret as Fortress would just have to wait with the Doctor next time. The Doctor then comes in and allows them to go, stating that he'll take care of Fortress while they're vacationing. Sweet Baby promises to give the Doctor some souvenirs when they return.
The three AI arrive at the Task Force Island, though First Baby is upset that Fortress was unable to join them. Sweet Baby calms her down, just as First Baby notices a tree falling at unusual speed. The two AI decide to investigate, with Sweet Baby chasing after them. They soon come upon a weapon known as the Starbacter, which is going on a rampage and decide to eliminate it as it poses a threat to their vacation.
First Baby destroys the Starbacter and the three AI decide to explore the island, now that they have the summer mood on them. Back at the Amadeus facility, Fortress wonders what her swimsuit data would be like and wishes to join her older sisters in the future. The Doctor tells her that her current vehicle is far too big for her, but he's already set at making a more compact version for her to join along in. However, he finds it too quiet without the other three around.
Back at the island, the three AI run into monkeys before a large explosion occurs. They discover that the Starbacter's insects are reviving and began to clone the fallen soldiers and weapons, which include MS-Alice, Odette and the Gemini Twins. White Baby has the idea of taking the clones and overriding their data, which Sweet Baby finds a good idea. They decide to collect plenty of souvenirs for the two, although the Doctor and Fortress would end up having waiting a month for their return.
