Task Force 2nd is the one hundred and sixtieth Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.
Story[]
At an island, a large creature enjoys hunting and killing all in its path. The Regular Army are at an island where bodies are dumped and burned. One of the soldiers questions this, but a researcher tells him that the bodies are infected with the virus and need to be burned to prevent it from spreading. Another soldier expresses his desire to flee.
Marco, Eri and Tarma also arrive to oversee operations, but Eri is able to guess that Marco also wants to kill the virus carrier, which he affirms as it's too dangerous to spare it. Tarma brings in their newest recruit, Jephet to help in the operation. Gisee also comes to help as Midori is not here, and the group sets out to find the virus carrier and kill it.
They encounter the virus carrier, a massive creature that appears to be a centipede. Jephet wounds the creature, and it looks at her before retreating. Marco believes it has left for good, but Jephet states that it's simply retreated to lick its wounds and they should kill it while they have the chance. Despite their efforts, they are unable to find the centipede, which has burrowed beneath the island, fully recovered and awaiting its next prey.
