Task Force 3rd is the one hundred and sixty-fifth Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.
Story[]
Eri and Fio prepare for a mission on an island. Fio expresses concern about their latest recruit, because he's vastly different compared to Roberto, and it makes her uncomfortable.
Elsewhere, the new recruit, Avvio easily dodges all of the traps, gaining Midori's praise. He states that while he can avoid most traps, there's one he cant; love, prompting Midori to roll her eyes. Roberto then scolds him for prompting Midori to roll her eyes, which Avvio defends by stating that she'll understand as she gets older, prompting Roberto to roll his eyes on him.
In another section of the island, Schwarz Metzelei is delighted to meet the newcomers, while Fedeln Metzelei reminds her of the brain robot they tinkered with that is on a rampage.
The Regular Army soon encounters the Invaders and Avvio attempts to flirt with them. Roberto yells at him for attempting to flirt with aliens, but he questions if it's not wrong to flirt with other girls from another faction, as he recalls Roberto getting smitten by a rebel idol, which brings back bad memories for Roberto as he drags him away. The two Metzeleis then decide to head back home; Schwarz admits she wouldn't eat Avvio.
Midori shows off her new stun resistance to Eri, who is impressed. Fio then tries to show off what she got but Eri shuns her aside, before she decides to take the lumbering idiot with her on the next mission. Avvio is dismayed that there isn't a status strengthening for handsome men, before Roberto bluntly states that he needs to learn how to cooperate with others.
Eri then finds the two and orders Avvio to sortie out in five minutes. He attempts to hit on her, but she doesn't take it lightly and tells him if he tries it again, she'll blow him up. Roberto is stunned with how Eri managed to put Avvio back in line as she drags Avvio away for preparation, much to his dismay as he wants to look in the mirror before they go.
