Task Force 6th is the one hundred and eighty-first Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.
Story[]
A woman is contacted by her company to begin excavation on some ruins to collect some mysterious energy. She accepts the request and says good-bye to her siblings as she goes off to work, some of whom tease her not to go crazy on the ruins.
The woman arrives at the ruins where she finds Marco and Midori, who are testing an Astro Slug on the island. The woman, Maya, immediately accuses them of stealing her dig site, and Marco tries to calm her down. Midori states that the energy would make them the masters of the island, prompting Maya to accuse them of trying to monopolize the energy. Marco is forced to defend himself from Maya as there appears to be no reasoning with her.
As the battle rages, Maya goes overboard and collapses the ruins, trapping herself inside. She recalls why she took the job, as doing these assignments would make her siblings happy, as they were poor and eating delicious food was a luxury for them; the smile on their faces enough to please her. Maya then wakes up outside of the ruins, wondering what happened. Marco explains that he rescued her from the collapsed ruins, and states that they didn't intend to take the energy. This prompts Maya to remember what she was doing and demands that they give it to her, as her company needs it, prompting Marco and Midori to flee as she chases after them.
