Task Force 8th is the one hundred and ninety-fourth Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.
Story[]
The Yuki Tsuki Hana group inspects their newly acquired Crusty Legs. Kagura, Tsukikage and Ouka believe it is a good acquisition, while Keisetsu is somewhat concerned if they all have to go on board, though Kagura is the only one that goes inside.
When they originally acquired the Crusty Legs, the ronin intended to use it against the Ptolemaic Army, noting that something has riled them up and it would be a good opportunity to take advantage of it. Ouka senses someone watching them and demands they come out, who is revealed to be a mysterious woman. Although the ronin are wary of her, she does is not hostile. Kagura notes that despite the woman's young appearance, she is able to sense an immense amount of battle experience from her. The woman tells them to aid the man who will save the world, or they will all meet ruin. Unsurprisingly, the ronin do not take her advice.
The ronin soon arrive at the base where they find it strangely abandoned, but soon run into Bloom Metzelei, who had fed all of the base's personnel to her "children". Kagura believes she is the nemesis the mysterious woman spoke of and battles her.
Unfortunately for the ronin, the island appears to be strengthening Bloom's plants. Kagura orders the others to retreat as Bloom severely damages the Crusty Legs. The mysterious woman from before returns and comments on the situation, with Ouka believing that she set it up and tries to attack her. Keisetsu stops her from doing so, which convinces the woman to help them, teleporting them all away. Bloom wonders who these humans were, as she can't sense them anymore.
Away from the base, Tsukikage tends to Kagura's wounds. Kagura tells the woman that although she doesn't believe in fortune telling, they'll take her advice and help the man she spoke of.
