Try Line 12th is the one hundred and seventy-first Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.

Story

Jane Doe is assigned as a combat medic for a Rebel Try Line operation. She terrifies the soldiers because of her obsession with beauty. Cline asks Navy if she made the right choice in assigning her to be the medic, and Navy shows her an example of how she is perfectly suited for it.

Two Rebel soldiers are seen, one of them dying from his wounds. The other one tries to motivate him to keep on living, but the wounded soldier has given up. The other soldier calls for help, and Jane comes in, stating that she'll trade his living hands, legs and body for zombified versions, which terrifies the wounded soldier so much that he flees, reliving the other soldier, much to Navy's surprise.

At an alien site, Nowan looks at a leaked Try Line. Rillacle comes in and comments that Nowan and the Et A Omnis are similar due to being from the same galaxy and similar abilities, yet they don't get along with Schwarz. Nowan states that they're nothing compared to that "walking dumpster" and that mimicry is an ancient space technique before realizing Rillacle has no intention of listening and dismisses her, reminding her to get back in time or they'll leave her behind. They then note that their body is smelling funny.

The two are later stuck by Jane's zombies. Jane likes what she sees from the two Invaders, especially how Rillacle's is soft and fine, yet can be so big. Nowan simply states goodbye to Rillacle, revealing that they anticipated Jane would be too strong and moved most of themselves a safe distance away. Rillacle states that the experience isn't fun and tries to move, only to get stuck on Nowan's fission.

Back at the Rebel facility Cline is outside a medical tent and demands to get in, but gets no response. Navy finds her and wonders why she's alone, as she knows the two are always working together. Cline states that Growth was wounded during the operation before asking why the door won't budge. Navy states that this is the intensive care unit, and Cline orders Growth to get out, threatening Jane if she does anything to her.

Inside, Growth is unable to move as Jane looks at her patient, asking if she could use her body in the near future having been impressed by her muscles. But for now, she decides to "replace" her mangled arm.
