Try Line 16th is the one hundred and ninety-eighth Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.

Story[]

Towa is at base, wondering where Caroline had gone. A soldier informs her that she went to the battlefield where the two armies had just fought, much to her worry as she is concerned there might be some enemy soldiers lying in wait. The soldier informs her that she took some soldiers with her before she did, but Towa is unconvinced.

At the battlefield, Caroline finds the remains of numerous machines, getting excited over a Cabrakan engine. A woman helps Caroline move it into the truck single-handedly, prompting Caroline to state that she's very strong. The woman tells her that she lifts weights constantly, explaining that without its engine, the Cabrakan is useless and waiting to be stolen by scavengers. Caroline likens her statement with humans, before stating that scavenging is different from stealing. She then asks her if she's from the Dragunov Special Assault Force. The woman appears to be confused before wondering if she's recognized her before.

Towa then bursts in and tells Caroline to get away from the woman as she's with the Rebel Army. The woman wonders how Caroline didn't notice as she was wearing the uniform; Caroline admits that her muscles had distracted her. Caroline then orders the Screamer to attack, much to Towa's surprise as she acted rashly. Caroline states that the woman has neglected machines for muscles and wants to prove her wrong. The woman still stands from the attack and introduces herself to the two as Padwah. Towa recognizes Padwah's giant wheel as a threat to the Screamer, reminding Caroline that if it hits, it's all over. Caroline accepts Padwah's challenge and calls her "Paddy", much to Towa's surprise.

Padwah rips the Screamer's armor and engines with her bare hands. Caroline accepts defeat as she accepts that humans will be better than machines. Padwah reassures her that accepting this will make her a better engineer in the future, before she slams her wheel on Caroline, much to Towa's horror. It's later revealed that Padwah simply destroyed Caroline's remote control, preventing them from calling reinforcements or escaping. Padwah then apprehends Caroline for her outstanding warrant due to her escape. Towa decides to accompany Caroline despite being aware that she will be a prisoner; Caroline does not seem to mind being a prisoner again either, much to Padwah's surprise as she brings the two mechanics and the engine back to the Rebel Army.
