Try Line 3rd is the one hundred and eleventh Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.

Story[]

Several years ago in the past, the Rebel Army conducts a high-level meeting. Abigail notes that the Professor is not here, and Dion tells her that he is been occupied by his work that he cannot attend, and asks if he should forcefully drag him here. Abigail declines, but states that it would be nice if he could send a representative if he was too busy to attend.

In the laboratory, the Professor laments on how he cannot create his work and stares up into the sky, but vows that he will complete his work at any cost, inspired by the appearance of the Rugname.

In the present, the Professor finally finishes his creation - the Mars Gigantalos. Percier is awed by the war machine, as she knew of the blueprints but did not expect him to finish it so quickly. She then tries to discipline Black and White but fails before noticing they are carrying a brochure. They tell her that it is a Try Line brochure and that they are going to assist their father to get Try Line coins. Percier tries to stop them from going but they easily brush her aside.

Black and White are fighting Rapid when White gets injured by mortar fire from the K-03 armored vehicle. Rapid states that she wouldn't care if they attacked the base, but because they attacked a supply line, it is a different matter. The twins spot the Professor in the distance and run to him.

Back at the Mars base, Percier applies first aid to White; while they admit that it is terrible, the pain is no longer there. Percier tells them that Rapid is normally aloof, but if her supply lines are in danger she turns into a different person. Black thanks Percier and hands her some Try Coins as gratitude for healing White. Percier then goes off to check on the Professor. As she leaves the room, White asks Black if they intentionally left out the fact that the shop closes soon, something which they do not answer.
