Try Line 7th is the one hundred and thirty-fifth Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.

Story[]

The Zoni Doloma has been going on a rampage in the desert; as a result of its attacks, a desert town is struggling to survive with a lack of provisions as their task force has not returned yet.

The attacks have forced El Dorado to intervene for the safety of his people. He hires several mercenaries and equips them with his arsenal; the mercenaries are confident that the operation will be over before it even started. Kelly watches the scene and is approached by El Dorado. She tells him she is excited to participate, as she intends to get as many Try Coins as possible. El Dorado tells her the Zoni Doloma is not to be taken lightly, though Kelly is also participating because El Dorado is one of her most valuable clients.

Kelly soon points at a girl nearby, aware that she is a mercenary but that she doesn't look like she is there to fight. El Dorado tells her that he found the girl in the desert. He calls her over, whose name is revealed to be Odile. Odile is curious about Kelly's appearance, and El Dorado tells her that everyone is different because of gender, age and race. Before Kelly can even question where Odile came from, she drags her away for the operation. As they run off, El Dorado yells to Odile to work with the other humans if she wants to get as much Try Coins as possible.

Odile fights and defeats the Zoni Doloma. Odile is disappointed by the strength of the desert creatures, believing that they should've been stronger. The Zoni Doloma launches a last-ditch attack on Odile before it succumbs to its wounds; thanks to Kelly's warning, Odile takes minor injuries. Odile asks Kelly if humans are the same, and she tells her that humans also become desperate when they are about to die.

Back at the town, the townspeople celebrate the Zoni Doloma's defeat, and thank El Dorado for hiring mercenaries. The two mercenaries discuss the operation; one of them, who saw Odile fight, is terrified of her, while the other questions him. Odile and Kelly arrive, scaring the first mercenary. As the pair wait in line, Kelly asks Odile what she plans to buy with her Try Coins. Odile tells her that she is going to buy the deceased Zoni Doloma, her mouth drooling at the thought of eating it, much to Kelly's surprise.
