United Front the 17th is the one hundred and forty-second Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.
Story[]
Two soldiers are scared of going onto the new truck developed by the Regular Army. Midori asks Marco why they're sad, and he tells them that the golden series of machines are so popular that everyone wants to fight them. Midori comments on how everyone is running away from popularity, but Marco tells her that they must be used to it.
Elsewhere, Tarma catches up with Clark, who is intending to go back home because riding a flashy weapon is a nightmare. Tarma tries to persuade Clark after Marco used the Golden Slug Gigant in a previous operation, but Clark reminds him the enemy has also improved their weapons since then. Tarma hands Clark a paper with Ralf's signature with it, but he soon realizes Tarma attempted to dupe him into using the Slugnoid and chases after him.
At the battlefield, Sharifa calls for HMT and asks her if the operation started yet. HMT tells her they can start any time, and notes that she is awfully peppy for someone who just woke up. Sharifa is curious about the golden square vehicle, and Hathol tells her that it's known as the Golden Regular Army Truck. Sharifa is so excited that she runs off before HMT can explain how a United Front works, while Hathol comments how she doesn't listen even after death.
Several unaffiliated soldiers chase after Clark for his Slugnoid Type-G, though he withdraws before they can get their hands on it. The truck however, is captured by the Pharaoh's servants. HMT notes that Sharifa did so well that she obtained the truck on its platinum frame, while Hathol is exhausted and her dog companion speaks for her regarding Sharifa's heart. HMT tells her that she should ask her about it herself. Sharifa then asks HMT and Hathol to ride with her so she can see more buildings.
