United Front the 29th is the one hundred and ninety-ninth Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.
Story[]
Romy is speaking with Leone in a flashback. assigning the recruit her first mission. She notes that Leone is somewhat nervous and informs her that if she succeeds in her mission, she may join ACE. Leone is surprised to hear this and promises not to disappoint her superiors.
Returning to the present, Leone becomes horrified upon learning that the Professor's technology will not remove the Invaders that have attached to her tank. Black scolds Leone for not trusting the Professor's technology, while White states that they're being a bit harsh, but agrees that she is quite brazen. Leone tells the two that she wanted the Invaders gone, but Black informs her that she came too late. White then tells her that if she came even later, she might've been fused with the Invaders.
Black suggests she simply return the tank to the Rebel Army as Pauline walks in and shows Leone the United Front shop list. She tells her that the Pharaoh may have the knowledge to help her return her tank to normal, so Leone speeds off to the battlefield. Black believes Leone should just get a new tank, but White notes that the Invaders have made the tank stronger.
Leone obtains a large amount of United Front coins, but to her dismay, she is unable to use it to buy the treasure. Pauline tries to dismiss her (as she used her to obtain the coins) by stating that the Rebel Army would be delighted to see the Invaders on her tank, but Leone refuses to return, as she hasn't completed any of her objectives and her tank is a mess. She then boards the spaceship, much to Pauline and the twins' surprise. The three then decide to use the United Front coins. Pauline is happy to get a new companion, while the twins comment on how cunning she is.
