United Front the 30th is the two hundred and eighth Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.

Story

The Rebel and Regular Armies clash on the battlefield, with the Regular Army bringing in their newest weapon - a Golden Slug Square. The Rebel soldiers' attacks on the Golden Slug Square deal virtually no damage, as it keeps repairing any damage they do inflict. The soldiers are about to surrender when Emma comes in. One of the soldiers is surprised to see her injured, but she states that she's a soldier like them and doesn't have the luxury of a bodyguard like Navy does. She tells them that they can only give up when all options are exhausted. Her presence and words motivate the soldiers to continue fighting, while Alesha comments on her spirit and ingenuity.

Emma severely damages the Golden Slug Square with her own recycled contraption. Fio vows to continue fighting, even though Emma points out that it would hurt her reputation if she did. Before Fio could respond to her comment, Eri calls and persuades her to withdraw. One of the Rebel soldiers notes that Emma is wounded, who admits that it wasn't what she had expected. Alesha offers to give her a ride back. Emma is initially hesitant as she knows Alesha normally doesn't let anyone ride alongside her, but Alesha tells her that she makes an exception to those she likes. She tells her to quickly decide as the United Shop will be closing soon, so Emma accepts her offer.
