United Front the 31st is the two hundred and thirteenth Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.

Story

In an unknown area, Mirror Mantis is seen conversing with her contact, who wishes to see Allen O'Neil dead. Mantis accepts the request, with the contact expecting it to be a success, as she is said to have a 100% success rate. Mantis corrects them by stating that it's 75%.

In the Rebel Army base, everyone is aware of the assassination attempt on Allen, with Allen Jr. and Julia stating that they won't fail Allen. Abigail has Beatriz work with them, stating that they need some logicial support. Allen states that he will not fall, as everyone has tried to kill him but failed.

On the battlefield, Mantis spots her target, protected by a large bulk of the Rebel Army, including a Golden Big Gate.

Mantis finds and attempts to attack Allen, only for her blades to be stopped by Allen's muscles. Allen commends her for going straight for the kill, but states that he is so strong that her blades are no match for his muscles. Allen Jr. and Beatriz catch up to the assassin and tell her that her mission is a failure. Beatriz wonders if Mantis is an assassin because she insists on completing the job, while Allen Jr. reminds her that she cut through a bunch of personnel to reach him. Mantis clarifies that she's both an assassin and a mercenary. Beatriz states that since she failed her mission, she should leave, as she has no chance of winning.

Seeing that her mission has failed, Mantis decides to give up. Beatriz states that it must be a pity because she made Abigail worried. Mantis agrees with Beatriz's comment, remarking that her success rate has dropped once again with this failure and leaves. Allen Jr. yells out that she hasn't completed her mission, while Beatriz shrugs off any thoughts about the corporation that hired her.
