Sho is busy meditating when Yoshino intentionally startles him. She asks him if he has seen anything and he tells her that he can feel and sense everything nearby. Yoshino then tells him that a United Front has started and she's told Dragunov that he's slacking, much to his astonishment.
Arriving at the battlefield, they spot the Golden Crusty Legs. Sho remarks on its transience and imperfection, while Yoshino states that they have a lot of guts for quite the sad spectacle. After Sho remarks that he wished he had guts, Yoshino then tells him to intercept the entire enemy army himself and not return until he has done so and traded in all the United Coins. Sho remarks that he'll be killed if they surround him, but Yoshino ignores him before Lithos inexplicably pops up between the two and echoes Yoshino's remark. Lithos offers to take the mission and have Sho be her subordinate. Yoshino remarks that she's quite confident, who states that she can easily handle the enemy. Yoshino is left impressed and tells Lithos to leave Sho in a random place while telling her disciple not to return if he has less battles than the aspiring recruit.
During the battle, Sho notices Lithos being helped by others and asks where she got them and the tank from. She tells him that she forced them to help while her tank is already sanctioned. Yoshino then appears and tells Lithos that she knows how to both command and use a tank, while considering Sho to be an ideal candidate, much to his annoyance. Sho soon returns exhausted with plenty of coins. Lithos remarks that he still needs to exchange them, with Yoshino voicing support. Lithos uses her tank to carry her spoils, while Yoshino tells Sho that he is her only true disciple. Sho is then motivated to complete the task, although he starts to significantly stagger from exhaustion. Lithos soon returns, claiming that she came back for him as a "subordinate". Other soldiers take note of how Lithos has made Sho her new subordinate, much to his disdain.
