United Front the 39th is the two hundred and sixty-second Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.
Story[]
At a Rebel Army base, Fluffy is hosting a party, with Virginia and her Ice Hell Unit as attendees. Fluffy's attempts to sing songs to them fail and she wonders what she is doing wrong; her singing even prompts Virginia to take the lyrics seriously. As Fluffy becomes upset that she isn't able to make them happy, Virginia apologizes. Fluffy then attempts to sing another song, but the alarm rings and the group immediately departs, with Virginia apologizing again for the abrupt interruption.
Heading to the battlefield, Virginia learns that the Golden Utans have gone violent and took a Golden Knight Tank with them. She orders her unit to prepare for battle and warns them to stay away from her if she has to take her suit off.
Virginia notes that the golden Utans are agile and contemplates taking her suit off. Two nearby soldiers capture one of the monkeys as Virginia comes in to check; the soldier wants to find a way to deal with the monkeys outside of fighting. The monkey looks at Virginia with dull eyes, who appears to understand it. Virginia orders the monkey released and most of the other monkeys follow suit.
After the battle, Virginia gives her United Coins to her soldiers; however, she finds it difficult to handle the coins in her suit and decides to expose her hands, freezing the area in an instant and making the coins unusable in their current state. This causes the soldiers to frantically clean the mess before the shop could close, just as Fluffy comes in and tries to support them with a song. The soldiers are too busy and a dejected Fluffy attempts to quietly leave, only for Virginia to come and tell her that she'll listen to her song, much to the idol's delight.
