United Front the 41st is the two hundred and seventy-third Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.

Story

At the forest, Esther is faced with a solution as Minerva comes in and asks her what's wrong. Esther tells her that the Ptolemaic Army is heading towards their forest and that she's sent some of the warriors out to get some help. Minerva reminds her that some of the villagers cannot fight and suggests she account for every possibility. A fair distance away, a young woman watches the two.

The woman walks elsewhere and asks "Slim" what they could do. She wants to protect her people and doesn't want Esther to carry the burden herself. Interpreting Slim's language, she decides to activate the United Front to call for more help. At the shore, Elysion receives the distress signal and decides to help the people if only to satisfy her lust for battle.

At the Ptolemaic base, Damian notes that the natives have sent out a signal, while Achetto is mostly indifferent as she believes there wouldn't be too many people coming to help. Damian is surprised by her callousness and remarks that ants live well, prompting Achetto to report him for saying other "terrible things". The natives soon arrive, led by Esther. Philia then comes in and tells Esther that she is willing to fight to protect their people, informing her that she had also called for help. Elysion joins in, much to Esther's surprise. Damian is initially unimpressed but becomes interested when Elysion claims that she alone is enough to repel their entire army.

Damian finds himself overwhelmed by the enemy and Achetto suggests they retreat. Damian leaves a threat to the group, but Achetto is left unimpressed, claiming that it makes them look weak. As the Ptolemaic Army leaves, Philia wonders if she was able to help. Esther tells her that she did, although Philia knows that Elysion deserves credit too. Minerva advises Philia to be on her guard as Elysion is a cursed ghost. Elysion is intrigued by Philia approaching her. Philia offers to help lift her curse, much to Elysion's amusement as she had been unable to herself. Philia is not dismayed, so Elysion accepts her promise, albeit warning her that if she could not fulfill it, she would die too. Philia is determined to lift the curse and as Elysion leaves, a slight smile forms on her face.

Notes

• There was an issue with ShootingRay Ver.Gold where the boss required four gold items (all other Golden units of either rarity had a minimum of three each of each tier's items). While the items could be fused, the mistake was unintentional; as a result, the item was placed in the shop for 10 United Coins and all players received 100 medals as compensation.
