United Front the 5th is the ninety-first Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.

Story

The Martians learn that the humans are waging war again, so they bring the Golden Dai-Manji to show their power in an attempt to have them stop fighting.

On Earth, Ichima and the Red Goblin head towards a Rebel base and notice the Dai-Manji fly over them. Because of its Rebel Army symbol, Ichima believes that it is a Rebel Army weapon. Red authorizes a United Front attack, confusing Ichima. As soon as they arrive at the base, Ichima is surprised by the amount of volunteers that came and Red recognizes the Dai-Manji as being part of the Martian Army - he doesn't want to battle them, but is forced to when the Martians open fire on him.

The Martians eventually withdraw from the battlefield. Ichima is surprised by how the Rebel Army's soldiers are weak, before Red corrects her. While they haven't achieved their primary goal, they decide to take a break from all the fighting. Red later thanks the volunteers for assisting him in the attack.
