United Front the 9th is the one hundred and ninth Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.
Story[]
Navy and Emma work to create one of their masterpieces; the Golden Nokana. They then attempt to search for volunteers.
Much to their dismay, the two inventors are unable to find anyone to pilot the Golden Nokana. Vita arrives and gives them three reasons why they refuse to pilot it. The first reason is that it stands out with the gold paint, though Navy states that gold is a powerful color and she didn't decide the paint job. The second reason is that the ball turret makes them a sitting duck, which Emma finds absurd as the other Nokana models have the same feature. The final reason is that other armies have intelligence on it and they don't want to be captured. However, she has found them a volunteer; Allen O'Neil, who told Vita to tell Navy that she owes him one, much to her confusion.
Elsewhere, Mira learns of the Golden Nokana and is introduced to Beecham, who Anastasia IV sent for the mission. At the battlefield, Mira tells the group of assembled soldiers that whoever captures the Golden Nokana will be handsomely rewarded. Beecham sneaks out while Veronica notices that Sisilia has spaced out, though Sisilia is suspicious of Beecham.
At the battlefield, the Golden Nokana takes heavy damage. Allen's soldiers suggest to retreat, but Allen refuses, as they are Allen Platoon, so they leave the Nokana behind. Navy contacts Allen, mildly annoyed that they are leaving the Golden Nokana behind. Allen states that he and his platoon are better than any golden weapon, and he hangs up on her.
Beecham heads to Mira's room, only to find it locked. Veronica and Sisilia arrive, though Beecham claims that she was lost trying to find the United Coin shop. The three then leave, with Beecham failing to find out Mira's secrets.
